a    WHAT IS FIPMA AND WHAT IS ITS PURPOSE?
 FIPMA is the Foundation of the Plastics Industry for the preservation of the environment
 Founded on September 29, 1993
 It promotes the use of plastics and offers information on its impact on the environment
 Located in Jerónimo Salguero 1939 (Ciudad de Buenos Aires)
 Support the promotion and development of plastic products
 Provide information on current legislation related to plastic waste
 Research new law drafts and analyzing their contents
 Exchange ideas with lawmakers, whenever necessary
 Design publications for professionals, teachers, and students
 Preserve the environment as a main concern
 Promote awareness campaigns on the recovery of plastic waste
 Promote relationships with universities, and technical and scientific institutions
 Provide information to its members and other citizens
 Show and circulate the laws enforced in First World countries related to plastic waste
 Plastic raw materials: Explain their characteristics and applications
 Express and show the commitment towards the environment, as a legacy to future generations
 Reconcile the preservation of the environment with economic development
 Act as a non-for-profit organization
 Sponsor studies and research
 Contribute with measures that improve the quality of life
